Application & Registration
You need to be a Malaysian citizen aged 18 or above, have at least a Diploma or equivalent qualification, be able to provide valid identification and academic documents, and complete our vetting and onboarding process.
Yes, you may apply using an unofficial transcript, final semester results, or a completion letter.
We consider your subject fit, verification status, profile quality, application pitch, and schedule availability.
Parent approvals may take 12 hours to 5 working days, and delays happen if your verification is incomplete or the parent needs time to decide.
You will receive notifications through the Sifututor app and through WhatsApp or email when there is progress.
You will complete any remaining verification, confirm the class schedule with the Customer, and begin teaching once the details are finalised in the system.
Yes, you may apply to as many requests as you feel confident handling, as long as you can commit once selected.
You may teach either online or through home tuition, depending on the Customer’s preference and your availability.
Training & Support
Yes, we offer online workshops, guidance sessions, and learning platforms to support your teaching growth.
No, you are an independent tutor and manage your own schedule and teaching style while following Sifututor’s standards.
Yes, many tutors teach part-time, and the platform fully supports flexible schedules.
Your rate already includes basic travel and teaching needs. If special materials are required specifically for the student, the purchase should be agreed upon between you and the Customer, and any costs should be claimed directly from the Customer.
Sifututor may guide you in choosing suitable materials, but we do not provide or prepare materials on your behalf.
Payments & Commitment Fee
Sifututor manages all Customer invoicing, Customer payment collection, and tutor payouts.
Payouts are processed twice a month based on Customer-verified Sessions. If the Customer verifies your classes by the last day of the month, you will be paid between the 1st and 15th of the next month. If verification happens between the 1st and 15th of the next month, you will be paid between the 16th and the end of that month. If verification occurs after the 15th, your payout will be included in the next available payout cycle.
Please check if all sessions have been verified, and if more than 15 days have passed beyond your expected payout window, contact the Tutor Experience team for assistance.
Yes, you will receive a payout slip at the end of every month, summarising your verified sessions and earnings.
Yes, we may offer performance bonuses and referral rewards from time to time depending on current campaigns.
It is a one-time refundable fee charged after your first confirmed class and returned when you resign with one month’s notice and complete offboarding.
No, as you are an independent tutor and not an employee.
Sessions must be verified by Customers, attendance must be updated accurately and on time and required reports must be submitted.
No, tutors cannot request or accept direct payments as all payments must be handled through the Platform for fairness and transparency.
Attendance should be updated within 24 hours because it ensures your classes are logged accurately, prevents disputes, and keeps payouts running smoothly.
Class Management & Attendance
A Session is one scheduled class with a Student based on the agreed number of sessions, duration, and mode.
You and the Customer agree on a suitable time and day, and once confirmed, the schedule is considered final in the system.
Yes, but only if both you and the Customer agree, and Sifututor should be informed if updates are needed.
Yes, as long as the Customer agrees and the additional sessions are updated on the Platform.
Yes, missed or cancelled sessions should be replaced within the same billing cycle, and carry-over to the next month is allowed only with Customer agreement.
Attendance should be updated within 24 hours after each session for accurate and timely payout processing.
Late attendance may cause you to lose payment for that session, so it is best to update immediately after class.

Yes, you must submit a Student Evaluation Report after the first class and a Progress Report after every 12 verified sessions via the Sifututor app.
Missing reports may affect your performance record and future opportunities on the Platform.
Conduct, Performance & Feedback
We expect tutors to be punctual, respectful, prepared, and able to maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
We will review the situation fairly, and depending on the issue, you may receive a warning, temporary suspension, or account termination.
Yes, we monitor Customer feedback, ratings, and attendance consistency to support your growth.
Yes, you may reach out to the Tutor Experience team anytime if you need support or guidance.
Resignation, Suspension & Termination
You may resign by giving one month’s written notice to both your Student(s) and Sifututor, and continue classes until the notice ends to ensure a smooth transition.
Yes, your account may be suspended or terminated if there are repeated no-shows, misconduct, serious Customer complaints, direct payment acceptance, or violations of the Tutor Agreement.
Yes, you may reapply anytime, and your previous performance will be reviewed.
