You’re All Set! What’s Next?

Thanks for choosing SifuTutor. Your tutor has been matched and your commitment fee is confirmed — you’re officially on your way! Here’s everything you need to know to get started and manage your classes like a pro.

1. Get to Know Your Tutor

You can view your assigned tutor and upcoming class schedule directly in the SifuTutor app.
Your tutor will also reach out to introduce him/herself and confirm the first class schedule.

2. Use the App for Everything

For the smoothest experience, we strongly encourage you to manage everything via the SifuTutor app:
  • View your class schedule
  • Track your payment history
  • Verify class attendance
  • Access progress reports
  • Chat with support (coming soon)

3. Billing & Payments

Your first invoice will be issued after your first class begins, and future invoices will follow on that same date each month. SifuTutor uses an advance billing system to ensure classes run on time and tutors are paid promptly.

How to Pay:

Easiest: Pay directly through the app (recommended).

Alternative: Request a secure payment link from our Billing Team team via WhatsApp at +6014-603 7500 to pay through CDM, Bank Transfer or Online Banking.

Important: Always include your invoice number in the payment reference.
Please do not pay your tutor directly. All payments must go through SifuTutor for your sessions to be protected and properly tracked.

4. Class Scheduling & Changes

After each session, you’ll receive a prompt in the app and email to verify the class.
Please verify attendance within 48 hours to ensure:
  • Your class records are accurate to ensure the consistency and on-time tutor payout
  • Your learning journey continues without disruption

If you don’t verify, the session will be auto-marked as completed and billed accordingly

Want to make changes?

  • Inform both the tutor and SifuTutor at least 24 hours in advance
  • Class reschedules within 24 hours of the session are non-refundable. All reschedules are subject to the tutor’s agreement and availability

5. Track Progress with Confidence

We believe in measurable learning — here’s how we keep you informed via the app:
  • After the first class – You’ll receive a Student Evaluation Report outlining first impressions, learning needs, and tutor recommendations
  • After every 12 verified sessions – You’ll receive a Progress Report, showing your child’s development, strengths, and focus areas
You’re welcome to speak to your tutor directly or reach out to us if you have questions.

6. Safety & Flexibility

Your child’s safety matters. All SifuTutor tutors are background-checked, screened, and verified before matching. However, we still recommend that a parent or guardian be present during home tuition sessions to ensure a safe and comfortable learning environment.
