About SifuTutor

Sifututor is a tutoring platform that connects students with qualified tutors for one-to-one learning. You can choose online classes or have tutors come to your home — whatever works best for your family!

Yes! All our tutors go through a detailed screening process. That includes background checks, interviews, and teaching assessments. We only accept tutors who are both knowledgeable and passionate about teaching.

We offer pretty much all the major subjects — from BM and Maths to Add Maths, Science, and even university-level topics. With a large and diverse pool of tutors, chances are high we’ve got someone perfect for your needs.

Yes. We’ll suggest several tutors that match your needs. You’ll get to view their profiles and select the one you prefer.

Yes! You can choose whichever mode suits your lifestyle. Some families prefer in-person for focus, others love the convenience of online.

Just let us know your preferences — like wanting a female tutor or someone who speaks Mandarin. We’ll do our best to match you, but if you’re flexible, we can usually find someone faster!

Registration & Onboarding

You can register on our website (sifututor.my) or download the app. Fill in the tutor request form and our team will reach out to confirm your preferences within 24 hours.

If you’re 18 or older, you can register yourself. If you’re below 18, we’ll need a parent or guardian to register on your behalf.

The RM50 fee helps secure your tutor and confirms your interest. It’s not an extra cost — we’ll deduct it from your first invoice once classes start.

Usually within 1–2 days. It may take a bit longer if your request is very specific, but we’ll always keep you updated.

Yes, definitely! If your child needs help in different subjects like English and Maths, we can assign separate tutors. However, if a single tutor is qualified to teach multiple subjects your child needs, we’ll try to arrange that instead. Having one tutor handle multiple subjects can make learning feel smoother and more connected.

Scheduling & Classes

Once your tutor is confirmed, they will schedule the sessions for the month using their app.
You’ll be able to see the full schedule inside your Sifututor customer app. If it’s not showing yet, just drop them a gentle reminder — sometimes they get busy too!

Most parents choose a regular weekly schedule to keep things consistent, but we’re flexible. You can adjust when needed as long as the tutor agrees.

Let us or your tutor know at least 24 hours in advance. Short-notice changes may be charged, but we’ll always try to help where possible.

Yes, you can request to switch between online and in-person classes. Just let us know and we’ll coordinate it with your tutor. Do note that the billing will still follow the original package unless you want to make a permanent change to your class mode moving forward.

Of course! Just inform both us and the tutor in advance. That way, we can plan for any replacement classes after your holiday and keep everything on track without affecting your billing cycle.

Yes! Just contact us and we’ll update your schedule or assign a different tutor if needed.

Yes, you can choose any safe and agreed-upon location that works for both the tutor and your family.

Progress & Performance

You’ll get an initial report after the first class. After every 12 completed sessions, we’ll send you a full progress report through the app.

Definitely! Open communication is encouraged. You can speak directly to your tutor, or contact our support team if you need help understanding the report.

If the tutor notices any serious issues, we’ll flag it in the report or contact you directly. We believe in proactive support.

Payments & Billing

You will receive your first invoice after your first class begins. Future invoices will be issued monthly on the same arrangement date, and you’ll have 7 days to make payment.

SifuTutor uses an advance billing system. This means your monthly invoice covers upcoming scheduled classes. This helps ensure smooth tutor scheduling and timely tutor payouts.

No sweat, you can pay through the SifuTutor app.

No, all payments must go through Sifututor. This ensures everything is tracked, your classes are covered, and you’ll receive official invoices. If payment is made outside our system, we won’t be able to assist or protect you if anything goes wrong with the tutor or the sessions.

Currently, Sifututor does not directly offer installment plans. However, you may choose to pay through an installment facility offered by our approved payment gateway in app, if available.

Our pricing is fixed and standardised across all tutors, so you never have to worry about individual rate negotiation. For the latest pricing based on level and mode, please visit our Pricing Page or reach out to our team for a quick breakdown.

Yes, you’ll receive an official invoice and payment confirmation. Everything is accessible in the app and sent via WhatsApp/email.

If payment is not made within 7 days of your invoice date:
  • Your classes may be suspended,
  • And you may lose your assigned Tutor slot

Safety & Support

All tutors are vetted, and background checked. We also recommend having a parent or guardian present during home sessions.

Account, Privacy & Platform Policies

We’ll ask for your name, address, MyKad number, TIN (for e-invoicing), and email. It helps us verify accounts and issue official receipts.

Yes. We comply with Malaysia’s PDPA. Your data is never sold or shared, and is only used to manage your sessions and communicate with tutors.

Yes! We’re registered under Sifu Edu & Learning Sdn Bhd and fully compliant with Malaysian regulations.

We don’t promise specific grades, but we do promise personalised support and consistent quality. Results depend on effort, communication, and consistency from all sides.
